Chula Vista is a beautiful community spanning 50 square miles with a population of around 230,000, making it the second biggest city within San Diego County. The city, whose name means "beautiful view" in Spanish, is surrounded with mountains to the east and the Pacific Ocean to the west. The city is enriched with a culture-rich, astounding society.
For tourists and residents, the city has several attractions and amenities. Cricket wireless amphitheater and Knotts Soak City USA are just a couple of the notable attractions all over the year. Chula Vista is also among the few cities who has a year round US Olympic Training Centre. There is a large assortment of parks within the city, as well as several golf courses, the Chula Vista Nature Centre, and a marina. Downtown, the city offers an wide variety of shopping and dining opportunities.
The planning in the city is fantastic. It has several inexpensive housing together with a beautiful range of estate homes accessible. There are several planned communities in development along with a variety which are already established.
