Norwalk is a flourishing city with an existing population of around 109,000 residents. It was incorporated on August 26, 1947 and just celebrated its 50th anniversary in the year 2007. The city itself is 9.35 square miles, 95 feet above sea level, and is situated 17 miles southeast of Los Angeles.
