Terex Boom Lifts
Articulating Booms - Bi-Energy and Electric
Terex provides Genie DC and Bi-Energy machines which are emission-free and provide quiet operation for the most sensitive work applications. For instance, in industrial settings where the machine must travel significant distances, the Genie bi-energy system combines the flexibility and advantages of a diesel fueled generator utilizing a 48 Volt DC machinery.
Some of the important features provided by this combination include out, up and over positioning capabilities for complete flexibility. In addition, the zero tail-swing offered by most units, combined with the tight turning radius provides easy maneuvering through standard doors and narrow aisles.
The drive and proportional controls provide the machine with smooth drive performance and precise boom positioning. For quiet and emission free operation suitable for sensitive environments, there is a 48V DC electric drive system. There are jib boom models on the market to function with an additional working range for particular tasks. On non-jib models, there is a self-leveling platform that rotates to either side at an angle of 90 degrees.
Articulating Booms - Diesel Engine
Genie machinery by Terex are great for both outdoor and indoor construction applications. This particular model provides engine-powered articulating Z booms which combine out, over and up positioning capabilities and extreme lifting versatility overall. The outreach offered by this model is second to none in the market.
The diesel engines with articulating booms provide zero tail-swing on the majority of models and have a tight turning radius. These machinery are great for maneuvering in confined locations. Furthermore, they offer supreme power, excellent torque and grade and terrain maneuverability. The diesel engines are generally quiet also. Nearly all models have full time drive positive drive traction system and active oscillating axle to provide great flexibility on surfaces that are uneven and rough.
The 2 or 4 wheel drive models, provide high ground clearance and the rough terrain features that make these desirable to add to any fleet. The jib boom kinds are available and provide added range capabilities. On non-jib models, the self-leveling platform also rotates to 90 degrees on these models too.
